This Louis XIV Period Serpentine French Provincial style Commode is a low chest of drawers that is petite in size and features 2 drawers that have large hand crafted dovetails and ornate figural pulls and escutcheons. Constructed of Fruitwood with banded top, sculptural form and mounted atop a shaped apron resting on cabriole legs that terminate in carved hoof feet. Place this elegant and versatile cabinet in a bedroom, a living room or an entry table. Crafted in France, circa 1800.
