Antique Victorian Eastlake Campaign Folding Rocking Chair Rocker c.1880’s
Features a solid Walnut wood frame with incised and spindle details, and a mauve velvet fabric (some stains to seat). Nice curved back for comfort.
The Eastlake Movement occurred during the late Victorian period and was started by British architect and writer Charles Eastlake (1836–1906). The style is loved and collected for it’s signature geometric ornaments, spindles, low relief carvings, and artistic incised lines.
