LEM is an iconic stool with sculptural seat swivels and adjusts easily from counter height to bar height with a lever that activates a piston cylinder. The metal footrest extends from the seat’s frame, creating an elegantly flowing form raised on a weighted metal pedestal base. Designed by Shin and Tomoko Azumi and made in Italy by Lapalma.
Lapalma is an Italian company established in the 1980s that creates modern home and office furnishings. Their timeless designs use clean, soft lines and their furniture has received numerous awards, such as the Good Design award, the FX International Interior Design Award and the Design Plus award. LEM is included in the permanent collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Dimensions: Adjustable height 30″-34″, 15″ diameter base, seats 16″ deep x 14″ wide
Condition: Small scrape to the top of metal on one chair and slight discoloration to bases. This is a vintage piece and as such displays a mild level of wear from age. Any imperfections that have occurred only add to the charm and uniqueness
