Stunning Art Deco Cavalier Furniture Co. Walnut Cedar Trunk / Blanket Chest features a classic waterfall design with rounded front top edge. Incredible grained and highly figured walnut wood features bookmatched details. Lots of storage space with compartments at the sides and a removable tray. Lined with Red Cedar, comes with original key but does not automatically lock when closed. There is a light in the top that turns on when opened, with a switch in the back to turn off. The Cavalier Furniture Co. started as a sawmill in 1865 and was called the Tennessee Furniture Co., it was not called Cavalier Furniture Company until 1938.
