Unusual Art Deco Cavalier Furniture Co. Walnut Cedar Trunk / Blanket Chest features a classic waterfall design with rounded edges. Incredible grained and highly figured walnut wood features bookmatched front with a geometric design in the center flanked by burled sides that open from the inside to expose hidden side compartments. Lots of storage space and lined with Red Cedar, circa 1930’s.
The Cavalier Furniture Co. started as a sawmill in 1865 and was called the Tennessee Furniture Co. It was not called Cavalier Furniture Company until 1938.

Condition: Does not lock, no key. Some chips to bottom edge veneer front. This is a vintage piece and as such displays a mild level of wear from age. Any imperfections that have occurred only add to the charm and uniqueness.
